Ice
The control element — Ice agents freeze and shatter enemies to extend their damage windows.
- Assault (Freeze) (Ice) — Filling the Ice anomaly meter Freezes the enemy in place. This is the core crowd-control tool for Ice teams and sets up the Shatter payoff.
- Shatter (Frozen enemy) — Hitting a frozen enemy with a heavy attack Shatters them for a burst of Ice damage and a short stun. This is the main payoff of running Ice.
- Disorder (Another anomaly) — Triggering a different anomaly on a target that already has Ice affliction causes Disorder, immediately detonating the Ice DoT for burst damage.
Fire
The sustained-burn element — Fire agents keep Burn ticking for steady, reliable damage.
- Burn (Fire) — Filling the Fire anomaly meter applies Burn, a damage-over-time effect that persists on the enemy. Easy to keep up with on-field Fire attacks.
- Disorder (Another anomaly) — Applying a second anomaly type to a Burning enemy causes Disorder, detonating the Burn DoT immediately for a burst of damage.
- Shatter (via Physical) (Physical) — Pairing Fire with a Physical teammate lets you Shatter frozen-then-broken enemies, but the core Fire payoff is the Burn uptime itself.
Electric
The Stun element — Electric agents drive Shock and enable the fastest Daze buildup.
- Shock (Electric) — Filling the Electric anomaly meter applies Shock, a damage-over-time effect that also amplifies the team's ability to keep enemies pressured.
- Disorder (Another anomaly) — Triggering a different anomaly on a Shocked enemy causes Disorder, detonating the Shock DoT for a burst of damage.
- Stun synergy (Stun agents) — Electric Stun agents like Anby build Daze fastest, opening the Stun window where Attack agents deal their biggest hits.
Ether
The burst element — Ether agents spike huge damage inside Stun windows.
- Corruption (Ether) — Filling the Ether anomaly meter applies Corruption, a damage-over-time effect that also amplifies subsequent Ether hits.
- Disorder (Another anomaly) — Triggering a second anomaly on a Corrupted enemy causes Disorder, detonating the Corruption DoT for burst damage.
- Stun-burst synergy (Stun agents) — Ether Attack agents like Zhu Yuan deal their largest hits during the Stun window, so a reliable Stun partner is core to the element's identity.
Physical
The bruiser element — Physical agents deal direct damage and Shatter broken enemies.
- Shatter (Physical) — Breaking an enemy's guard with Physical damage triggers Shatter, a burst of Physical damage. This is the element's main anomaly payoff.
- Disorder (Another anomaly) — Applying a second anomaly type to a Physical-afflicted enemy causes Disorder, detonating the existing DoT for burst damage.
- Double-Attack synergy (Attack agents) — Nekomata gains a large damage bonus from having another Attack agent on the field, so Physical teams often run two Attack units.
